Horse Riding
Riding offers the opportunity to enjoy the beauty and freedom of riding through the Czech Highlands. We are able to ride directly into the countryside, no roads or car traffic which is both safer and more enjoyable. Rarely meeting anyone else on the trail, just us, the horses and nature.
You’re welcome to to come and say hello to the horses while they’re being groomed and give them some carrots!
Our Horses
We have three well trained horses that are comfortable with trail riding. They have different personalities which helps with our Wellness with Horses and Horsemanship stays.
Cookie
Cookie is a Cruzado breed from Spain (a mix of Andalusian and Lusitano).
He is an affectionate and friendly horse that likes company and will sometimes gives his owner a kiss.
Cookie is sensitive and light in his response to both riding and training.
Sasha
Sasha is a Magyar Felver breed from Hungary.
She is smart, sensitive and likes gentle attention.
Beginners will often request to ride Sasha.
Nico
Nico is also a Magyar Felver from Hungary.
He is the leader of the three horses. He has a smooth canter and very sure footed, a partner on a ride.
He is a little more advanced for ground work training and improving inner strength.
